ADIR Insurance celebrated its 25th anniversary during a gala dinner which was held at le Royal hotel, Dbayeh on July 2nd, 2008 which gathered Byblos Bank board members and employees, representatives of Natixis Assurances France, ADIR Insurance managers and employees, in addition to business executives and key people in the economy and media sector.
Dr. Bassil, President and General Manager of Byblos Bank declared that the last 25 years were marked by a series of achievements resulting in significant successes due to the efforts of ADIR Insurance management and employees, and despite the critical political, security and economical circumstances Lebanon has witnessed during the past years.
Dr. Bassil added:”The insurance field is getting more diversified. It is a promising sector that contributes not only in financing productive projects but also in supporting the middle classes in the society on the educational, social and health level.
In fact, the insurance sector contributes to assure the necessary security basics, during the difficult social and economical conditions.
Byblos Bank endeavors to develop and promote a wide range of insurance solutions in order to be in coherence with its global strategy to support its commitment towards the citizens and the society as well as its concern to ensure a better future for all Lebanese.
Mrs. Nathalie Broutele, General Manager of Natixis Assurances France stated:” For seven years of successful partnership, we were able to work in a climate of mutual confidence, and transmit to ADIR Insurance our know-how in the bancassurance field and to develop together a new range of insurance solutions in order to satisfy the Lebanese needs’’.
She added:” Even though Lebanon is geographically a small country, it enjoys extraordinary human resources characterized by their creativity and determination despite all the circumstances.”
Mr. René Klat, Managing Director and CEO of ADIR Insurance declared that the company realized a significant progress in the insurance field. Its profits as at the end of 2007 have reached around 3 million USD and its assets under Management have exceeded 56 millions USD. As for its portfolio, it currently counts around 60 thousand customers, while the insurance policies in force have exceeded 100,000.
Mr. Klat concluded his speech by addressing his gratitude to all persons who contributed to the success of ADIR Insurance, to Byblos Bank, to Natixis Assurances France and to the clients for their support and their confidence, as well as to the employees of ADIR Insurance for their efforts and devotion, by hoping that the coming 25 years will be as successful as the previous ones.
