ADIR Insurance organized, in collaboration with Byblos Bank, a grateful award ceremony for the bank’s employees for their achievements and their efforts in selling Bancassurance products along the “Stars Challenge III” Contest.
The award ceremony took place on the 22nd of October 2008 , at the head office of Byblos Bank in presence of Mr. Semaan Bassil, Vice Chairman-General Manager of Byblos Bank Group, Mrs. Joumana Bassil Chelala, Head of Group Consumer Banking Division at Byblos Bank, Mr. Rene Klat, CEO- Managing Direct or of ADIR Insurance, Mr. Jean Hleiss, Director & Assistant General Manager from ADIR Insurance, Mrs. Pascale Asmar, Mr. Bernard Colin and Mr. Christophe Le pape from Natixis Assurances-France and all the department managers as well as ADIR Insurance and Byblos Bank employees.
Mrs. Chelala greeted the presence of ADIR Insurance French Partners while thanking the employees for the exceptional efforts provided Bancassurance Products during the competition. She also noted that the Insurance policies issued during one month and half of competition represents 38% from the total emissions for the year 2008.
From his side, Mr. René Klat stressed on the importance of the synergy between ADIR Insurance and Byblos Bank. Mr. Klat invited also Byblos Bank employees to continue their efforts, and announced that an additional accomplishment will be made in terms of animation and coaching to give the best output. He concluded his speech by thanking all the persons who contributed to the success of this competition.
Mrs. Pascal Asmar expressed her joy for being part of the ceremony and stated that Natixis – affiliate of the central bodies “Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires” and “Les Caisses Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne”- launched recently a 3.7 billion Euros capital increase.
Mrs. Asmar also declared that a joint venture is under study between these two main shareholders of the Natixis group.
According to Mrs. Asmar “this convergence will contribute in establishing the second largest French Banking Group, and consequently the main contributor of Natixis, and therefore, indirectly the future partner of ADIR Insurance and Byblos Bank”.
